Tirnanog is the first game in a long-running series (5 games at least) loosely inspired by Celtic lore. However, the first game is more or less a rather standard JRPG with randomly determined quests and starting locations. On start, your first action needs to be to get your quest (and starting armor) from the castle next to you, which can be done by moving onto it with the numberpad, then using the up or down arrow to enter it. Controls are otherwise the numberpad, Home to open the camping menu (where you equip your items after receiving them) and Enter.

Combat is an automated affair from random encounters you can't see on the overworld.
